Our staff is an important part of the success of our business.

Clint Shortt, Owner/Auctioneer

Clint Shortt has just started his 25th year as a professional auctioneer after he attended the Missouri Auction School in 1986 and started Clint Shortt Auctioneers the same year.

Clint has conducted hundreds of real estate auctions, business liquidations, farm auctions and personal property auctions throughout Southwest Missouri.

He completed the Certified Appraisers Guild of America course in 1998, and is a certified personal property appraiser.

Clint has experience working with a Federal Bankruptcy Trustee, entrusted with all of his auction and appraisal needs, and has worked with local attorneys and the courts on numerous occasions.

Clint knows how to set up and complete advertising for local newspapers, sale bills, and the internet in an effective and efficient manner.

Clint Shortt Auctioneers has a professional staff that has been with him for years with each member providing additional assets to the business.

 


Dan Heimann

Dan Heimann has worked for Clint Shortt Auctioneers for the last 7 years providing assistance in set-up, advertising, internet, listings, and Ringman.

Dan completed the Certified Appraisers Guild of America course in 2005, and is a certified personal property appraiser in good standing. He has conducted appraisals throughout Southwest Missouri for many purposes.

 

Ringman
Les (alias ) Sparkplug

Spark Plug

Les, otherwise known as Sparkplug, is the newest member of Clint Shortt Auctioneers providing a vast amount of previous experience working as a Ringman. He has provided assistance in set-up, advertising, internet, listings, and contracts.

Les has fantastic people skills and the uncanny ability to think fast.

He is a former mechanic and checks out/ works on any equipment that we will be selling to educate potential buyers as to the condition.

Cashier
Kathy Tyler (not really her)

Kathy Tyler has been with Clint Shortt Auctioneers for the last 7 years providing the services as cashier. Kathy has vast experience in bookkeeping and somehow manages to consistently balance the books to the exact penny.

Kathy has 15+ years working for the Missouri Department of Revenue, in the license bureau in the position of cashier/ auditor. Kathy does an excellent job handling the contracts and making sure all title work is correct.

Kathy is also self-employed, owning her own business for the last 15 years.

Debbie Snider
This Month's" Employee Of The Month".

Debbie Snider has been providing the services of the clerk position for Clint Shortt Auctioneers for the last 5.5 years. She has been instrumental in assisting the cashier with paperwork, buyer's registration, final settlement, etc.

Debbie has 15+ years working for Christian County, and the State of Missouri, in an administrative secretarial position, and is a former employee of the Missouri State Circuit Court working as a court clerk. Debbie also held the position of the City Clerk of Sparta, MO.

She has provided assistance in set-up, advertising, listings, and cashier.

Debbie has fantastic people skills and a great problem solver and has unbelievable organizational skills and is regarded as the backbone of Clint Shortt Auctioneers when it comes to making things running smooth and efficient.

Latest member of the staff is Howard Heimann.  You may have noticed Howard at recent auctions helping with set-up and working a s a ringman. Howard is a familyman, handyman, carpenter and hard working member of the staff. Say hello next time you see him at an auction.
